Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians for the following vacancies existing at M’mbelwa District Council.
POSITION : ESTATE MANAGEMENT OFFICER
GRADE : I/M7
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Degree in Estate Management, Land Management, Land Economy, Property Management and Property Valuation from accredited institutions of higher learning. Computer knowledge is a must.
EXPERIENCE
At least two (2) year work experience
COMPETENCIES
The incumbent should have well developed interpersonal and communication skills. He or She should have the ability to network with all stakeholders. He or she should be result oriented.
DUTIES
Maintenance of Organization’s rented property.
Facilitate allocation of plots.
Initiate development of infrastructure.
Initiate and supervise development protects.
Carry out covenant monitoring (ground rent, inspection of development) and reviews development charges.
Acquisition of Real property or the organization when need arises.
Processing of title deeds for the organization’s Real Estates.
Preparation of rental payment for rented properties.
Collection of rentals from properties rented out.
Maintenance and updating of Real Estates Register
