O&L Fresh Produce is recruiting a Team Leader: Technical Agri Services, to be based in Otavifontein, Namibia.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To manage the technical services & requirements for Otavifontein farm to ensure operational efficiencies.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:
- Grade 12 with a National Trade Certificate in Electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead & supervise the technical & maintenance teams on the farm.
- Responsible to manage the standby (breakdown) time within the set performance parameters.
- Responsible for all electrical, water infrastructure & mechanical related services, repairs and maintenance including the management of related service providers.
- Assist with the budgetary projection for the technical services of the farm as well as the management thereof.
- Assist with all technical related aspects for approved projects, which includes recommendations and proposals for upgrades.
- Responsible for the overall security management of the farm, which may include all support systems (alarms, cameras, etc.)
- Oversee the administration, quotes, invoices, and system requirements related to the technical services on the farm. Notes
