Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK & IR, Germany, Poland & Baltic Countries, Benelux as well as Eastern European countries. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation, and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We aim to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas Northern and Central Europe the best place to work.

The Service department is responsible for servicing wind turbines, maintaining long-term service contracts, and capturing aftersales opportunities available in the region. To accommodate our growth, we are looking for a new Customer Engineer for the Customer Service Management (CSM) team in Poland. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our growth. Vestas Poland is a local Sales Business Unit (SBU) with its main office in Szczecin. The SBU sells, constructs, and services wind turbines in Poland. The Service Organization, operating the wind turbines and providing services to the customers, employs approximately 280 employees.

We are looking for candidates for the position of Customer Engineer.

Responsibilities
• Provide first-line technical support to Customer Managers (CM) and Customer Coordinators (CC), support them in resolving both complex and ad hoc technical issues for service customers
• Be the interface between CSM, customers, and Technical Operation Support (TOS) to communicate technical problems and their resolution for complex issues
• Maintain good relationships with customers and their representatives during meetings, tele- and videoconferences, events, fairs, etc.

Qualifications
• An academic degree in e.g. Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Logistics or similar
• Technical education (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic)
• Technical knowledge of products and services
• Very good language skills in Polish and English
• Practical knowledge of various Microsoft office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems will be counted as advantage

• Keen on business improvement and project management
• Good understanding of the wind industry market
• Customer and solution-oriented approach
• Good interpersonal skills

Additional Information

Work location: Vestas' office in Szczecin (as preferred) or the other Vestas’ locations in Poland.

This position requires approximately 50 days of travel yearly.
