Georgia-Pacific is currently seeking a Reporting Analyst to support the GP Cellulose and Pine Chemicals businesses. This role will be a key contributor of the Planning & Analysis team and the Strategy & Business Intelligence team. Value Creation: This role will partner with the GP Cellulose and Pine Chemicals commercial and analytical capability teams to support business planning and analysis activities through timely and accurate administration of commercial sales systems as well as data consolidation and standard reporting.

The Cellulose commercial team is spread across the globe, but this support position is located at our sales office in Montevideo, Uruguay. We have a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote workdays.

What You Will Do in Your Role
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly commercial reports for business management and sales teams
• Prepare key, data-driven components of the monthly financial forecast update
• Serve as the Administrator of the Cellulose commercial forecasting tool (CAFFT)
• Work across functions to maintain RISI Pricing, Freight Rate Tables, User Access & period management
• Maintain destination lag day tables utilizing Maestro
• Validate data to assure all records have price and freight rates
• Maintain End User profiles and Market team detail in POPS system
• Support successful transition from legacy CAFFT to new CAFFT and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) system
• Prepare monthly and quarterly scorecard reports
• Consolidate data from industry reports for use in internal data analysis
• Provide ad-hoc data reporting and analysis to support commercial requests as needed

The Experience You Will Bring
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Experience in managing and analyzing data, developing business reports, or extracting data from a complex system.
• Solid understanding of key accounting and financial concepts and variance analysis.
• Collaboration and customer focus mindset that seeks to build working relationships
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365; with an Intermediate or higher level of MS Excel skills (pivot tables and reporting, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation) and MS PowerPoint.

What Will Put You Ahead
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, charts/graphs, leveraging BI cubes to build reporting tools)
• Experience with Infor products
• Experience with data analysis/visualization tools beyond Microsoft Excel (i.e. Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.)
• Experience in a financial analysis, commercial finance, financial reporting, or related role(s
