SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
Design and implement and lead an effective business planning framework and approach that supports the delivery of the short medium- and long-term objectives of the business, consolidated and presented with the Executive Committee to the Board.
Providing financial insight and analysis with a focus on high value forward looking analysis and what-if scenario-based modelling to support evidence-based decision making and ensuring a robust pathway exists to deliver the Groups full asset potential targets

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Work Accountabilities:
Coordinating Group targets and provide guidance for financial performance expectations (production, capital, costs, etc.)
Working alongside regional VP finance to ensure, we have developed robust and best value plans for our operations that incorporate pathways to deliver full asset potential
Leading the long-term Planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for presentation to the ExCom and Board
Working with the SVP finance and CFO to ensure appropriate DSP metrics and external guidance for the Group are set
Assisting in developing briefings and presentations for the CFO, CEO, the Group Executive Committee and AngloGold Ashanti Board
Fostering innovation and collaboration to improve finance processes across the Group, working with a diverse set of stakeholders

Monitor the activities of your team which involve other teams and appropriately intervene to address any cross-team issues
Support the definition of recruiting needs and hiring for the department
Ensure cohesion and common purpose by strong leadership, inspiration, and communication
Contribute to the broader business by working with others in such a way that it optimises the overall business results, rather than just the team's
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualifications:
CPA/ CA qualification
Experience:
10 years in mining or heavy industry experience in commercial or finance roles
5 years at management level
10 years' experience in financial forecasting and management reporting
Track record of effective interaction with EXCOs and senior managers

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a full-time, exempt position in the Denver Office
COMPENSATION
Base Salary Range $176,610-$327,990 USD
