POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Loan Funding Representative is responsible for all administrative functions necessary in order to upload, validate, and buy/book indirect loans and leases. This position requires substantial attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES North Shore Bank's Position Descriptions are intended to describe only the major functions of the job. Everyone is expected to contribute whatever efforts necessary to operate efficiently and effectively to insure the success of the Bank.

Performs daily procedures necessary to upload, validate, buy/book indirect loans and leases. This includes reviewing package for completeness, following up on missing items, disbursing funds for deals, and entry on satisfaction/lien report where applicable. Ensures package completeness through edit/audit verification or holding for pending items.

Verifies edit/audit sheets to match loan documents and confirm booking, making corrections if necessary. Pulls notes for scanning (scans and files in protected area) and mortgages for recording.

Maintains pending files, ensuring receipt of satisfactions, releases, title policies, ships mortgages, etc. and actively works to resolve any problems immediately.

Responds to calls from dealers regarding funding, programs, rates, etc.

Ensures timely and accurate updates of dealer rates and maintains accurate and updated dealer fax numbers within RightFax system.

Performs regular file maintenance, including promotional rates and expiration dates when offered.

Processes out-of-state titling requests and resolves title issues with any state and local agencies.

Performs administrative duties as assigned including but not limited to daily mail sorting and deliver and paid loan processing.

Provides back up to customer service staff as well as other department staff as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 6 years in funding both indirect loans or leases is desired. Requires ability to manually compute dealer reserve calculations; initiate, complete, and reconcile dealer settlement statements (debits/credits to reserve accounts); as well as, extensive experience with both loan and lease accounting/discounting. Prior work experience with direct customer contact is required. Mathematical aptitude and attention to detail is required. Knowledge of MS Office, Fiserv, Aspire Leasing System, Decision Pro, and Laser Pro systems is highly desired.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to manage and prioritize workload in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines. Requires attention to detail in a time-sensitive manner
