Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates tor the post of Information Technology Officer, tenable at Press Agriculture Limited Head Office in Kasungu.
The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Head of Finance
Duties and responsibility will include inter alia the following
Keeps computer systems running smoothly and ensures users get the maximum benefit from them.
Installs and configures computer hardware operating systems and applications
Manages company servers, maintains system security and administers server resources at company level
Provides on-time technical support to company staff i.e. face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
Troubleshoots system and network problems, diagnoses and solves hardware or software faults
Replaces parts as and when required
Ensures antivirus software and other software packages are updated daily.
Tests and evaluates new technology
Designs and implements company’s website and social platforms
Configures the Management Information Systems and Virtual Platform
Qualifications and Experience
Ideal candidates will be holders of higher National Diploma in information Technology plus
Certification in Networking, System Security and Database Management. Those with a degree will have an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy environment
A self-starter with good interpersonal skills.
