Zamara Pensions Administrators Limited domiciled in Malawi is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Client Service Intern on a 1-year fixed term renewable contract tenable at the Kasungu Service Center.

Applicants should be resident in these areas and should clearly state their location in their application. Applicants not resident in these areas will not be considered.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Team Leader, the successful candidate shall be responsible for administrative support across the business in terms of handling the flow of people and ensuring that all front desk responsibilities are completed accurately and in a timely manner to promote organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and ensure clients are attended to in a timely manner

Supporting Team leaders and Administrators as required in ensuring team targets are met and set out procedures are followed

Dealing with general enquiries and correspondence from pension fund members or general public and communicating with them appropriately

Providing member statements and explaining the output to pension fund members

Responsible for receiving and documenting all in-coming mail

Maintaining a daily log of all calls and client interactions

Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning etc

QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES

The following qualification is preferred

Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, social or mathematical sciences

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Interpersonal skills

The following personal qualities are preferred:

Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise

Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure

Excellent time management skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Well-groomed and presentable
