Position Summary and Responsibilities:
Eastern University, a Christian university of humanities,
health, arts and natural and social sciences, invites applications
for an adjunct instructor of Data Science. Positions are available
for both on-ground synchronous and online asynchronous instruction.
This position can be remote.
We seek instructors for courses including material in the
following areas:
● Python ● R and Tidyverse ● Databases and database management
with SQL ● Business analytics ● Introductory statistics ●
Intermediate statistics ● Machine learning ● Data visualization ●
Data manipulation
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Preferred applicants will have a M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer
Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related
field, and experience teaching at the college/university level.

state laws, Act 73 of 2007, Act 153 of 2014, Act 168 (relating to
the Child
Protective Services Law), school employees of Eastern University
who will have "direct contact
with children" must complete the background check process prior
to employment. Results must
be submitted within ten days of receipt.
