From adding ministries to staffing, from building facilities to adding programs, from stewardship to membership, it has all been for the purpose of being obedient to the commission of Christ.

YOUR ROLE IN OUR MISSION

This position will offer support to the Campus Pastor. The position must provide a high level of discretion and confidentiality in communications. The Executive Assistant performs tasks requiring considerable latitude for judgment and initiative in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The position will manage multiple relationships, both internally and externally. The incumbent will be required to understand organizational governance in fulfillment of their duties. The incumbent will be responsible for the management of organizational policies and procedures; and must have excellent organizational and time management skills. The position also coordinates, facilitates and administers activities under the assigned Pastor's direction to ensure operational and administrative responsibilities are met. Further, the position supports the Campus Pastor and designees in the completion of special projects.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage pertinent details by staying focused on ever-changing priorities and planning with anticipation, presenting a work product that is of excellence, being abreast of current events, and remaining well-versed and knowledgeable of internal policies and procedures.
• Responsibilities include routine tasks such as calendar management and meeting preparation and writing letters and responding to emails.
• Answers phone inquiries, directs calls and emails, provides basic church information, and handling wide-range information dissemination.
• Provides professional-level administrative support on special projects or when otherwise necessary.
• Assists with monitoring the day-to-day delivery of the programs and services to maintain or improve quality.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
• Ability to work in an occasionally stressful environment, to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet established deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize work tasks and efficiently allocate and manage time.
• Possesses advanced computer skills, to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and database management.
• Assists with administrative support such as ordering of snacks, supplies, program attendance sheets, registration/check-in, etc.
• Develops an effective work plan that prioritizes and outlines outcomes and timelines.
• Attends staff meetings and strategic planning sessions capturing appropriate information as requested and recording and dissemination of meeting minutes.
• Assists the staff in monitoring budget expenditures and projections for each program and activity, reconciling credit card purchases and requisitions for the Campus Pastor's Executive Assistant to submit to Finance.
• Prepares oral and written reports as requested.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with co-workers and volunteers.
• Schedules classes, programs, and workshops in EMS system.
• Assists in the course closeout process including: evaluations and certificates as appropriate.
• Ability to work as a member of a department team with willingness to cross-train certain team functions.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS AND IDEAL CHARACTERISTICS

The ideal candidate should have an Associate's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent and at least five years of administrative experience. Must have strong organization and administrative skills.

DESIRED RELATIONAL SKILLS

A mature walk with Christ, evidenced by a strong and well-articulated testimony, personal spiritual discipline, consistency in public and in private, a commitment to moral purity, healthy relationships with others, and healthy relationships with spouse and family (if married).

Ability to think critically, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusion or approaches to problems; organize, plan and prioritize work, and manage time while orienting on details with an innate ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment while being flexible;

Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with administration, supervisor, staff, volunteers, congregation and the community. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before small and large groups. Ability to effectively read, interpret and present information to top management, the congregation, volunteers and the community.

Knowledge of word processing, desktop publishing and spreadsheets. Ability to operate personal computer, calculator, copy and fax machines, etc. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
