Client is locating a FM (new role) to join their fast growing team. Need to look after statutory and finacial reporting especially on their newly acquired business through M&A.

Responsibilities:
• Perform financial and regulatory reporting functions, e.g. preparation of banking returns and financial reports in accordance to IFRS and HKFRS, and monitoring of financial compliance ratios.
• Handle financial accounting & reporting, month-end closing activities.
• Prepare consildated financial reporting, P/L and balance sheet statement on monthly basis.
• Exercise effective control on the operations, structure and workflow of financial data and information and their subsequent retrieval
• Business partnering with local business stakeholders and FP&A counterparts to review numbers during weekly business run-rate calls, month-end closing calls and solve accounting issues as well.
• Focus on continuous process improvement, partnering with Regional Finance Controllership team to achieve optimum efficiency and standardization.
• Support the preparation of financial reports by providing accurate and timely invoice data and related information as required. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting regulations. Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and best practices related to invoice processing.
• Manage year-end audit and liaise with external advisors when necessary.
• Ensure compliance to group accounting policies, audit, tax and other statutory requirements.
• Manage various financial topics and provide ad-hoc support to the finance or new business.

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of finance/accounting experience from audit firm and/or in-house role.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines with related professional accounting qualifications such as HKICPA, ACCA, etc
• Highly proficient in advanced Excel and experience in Oracle system would be advantageous
• Big 4 experience and/or prior exposure to manufacturing industry as a plus.
• Experience in financial system implementation / enhancement preferred
• Proficient in written & spoken English & Chinese
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure, detail-oriented and employ a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Positive working attitude, demonstrate good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
