Our client is looking for an experienced Training and Development Director. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing training programs that align with the company's goals and objectives. He/she will work collaboratively with other departments to identify training needs, design courses, and deliver effective training sessions. The successful candidate will have a passion for learning and development and will be committed to driving the growth and success of the organization..

Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of two
• Develop and execute training initiatives that are in line with the company's mission and objectives.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify training needs and create customized courses.
• Ensure our customer-centric service up to market trend and provide relevant training to our customer facing staff
• Deliver engaging training sessions using a variety of methods, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning platforms.
• Assess the efficacy of training programs and make adjustments as required.
• Foster and sustain connections with external training providers and vendors.
• Keep abreast of the most recent advancements and techniques in education and growth.
• Manage the training budget and ensure cost-effective delivery of training programs.
• Develop career development plans for employees and provide guidance and support in achieving their goals.
• Create and maintain training records and reports.

Requirements:
• Able to read and write Chinese and English
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
• Min 10 years’ experience as a Training and Development Manager or a similar role
• Proven track record in customer service training and selling skills;
• Experience in management training delivery preferable;
• Experience & business knowledge in retail industry or consumer banking industry will be an asset.
• Demonstrate proficiency in learning management systems and e-learning platforms
• Display robust project management abilities, with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of current trends and technologies in learning and development
• Possess the capability to operate individually or as part of a team
