Student Affairs Assistant I / Student Affairs Assistant II (at the rank of Clerk II / Clerical Assistant) (Several posts) in Jockey Club Student Village IV, in Wong Chuk Hang (Ref.: 523817) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefit scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have a recognized degree or diploma, with 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; with at least 3 years’ work experience preferably in tertiary institutions or in the education sector. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good organizational and communication skills; the ability to work independently; be meticulous, attentive to details and a good team player. Proficiency in PC applications such as MS Office, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop would be an advantage.

The appointees will provide clerical support to the Managers and be responsible for the daily operations of the residences managed by Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS); assist with students’ move-in/move-out, maintenance and housekeeping concerns; and perform any other duties as assigned. The appointees may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Preference will be given to those with relevant student housing experience. Those with less experience or lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as Student Affairs Assistant II.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
