Job Summary:

We are currently assisting one of the largest global property management companies in search for an experienced IT Applications Senior Project Manager to help lead a small regional team, setting project governance standards and having ownership of multiple project pipelines. The firm in question has a presence in 16+ countries across the region, with a highly multicultural work environment, thus requires excellent English communication. Candidates with Mandarin would be a big plus! Candidates experience with CRM systems is a big plus.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT application projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Stakeholder Management: Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, including business owners, IT teams vendors, and executive leadership, to ensure project alignment with business objectives and expectations. Provide regular project updates and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.

Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to project teams, including developers, analysts, testers, and other IT professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, promoting effective teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Scope and Change Management: Define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria. Manage project changes, including scope changes, requirements modifications, and resource reallocations. Assess the impact of changes, communicate them to stakeholders, and adjust project plans accordingly.

Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and issues. Develop mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and escalation processes. Ensure risks and issues are effectively communicated and resolved in a timely manner.

Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, including resource allocation and expenditure tracking. Optimize resource utilization and ensure efficient allocation of project resources. Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices. Implement quality control processes, conduct regular reviews, and ensure appropriate testing and validation procedures are followed.

Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and contractors, including software suppliers, consultants, and service providers. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.

Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular project status reports to key stakeholders, providing insights into project progress, risks, and achievements. Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, user documentation, and other relevant artifacts.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as an IT Applications Project Manager, overseeing application development, implementation, or enhancement projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, software development life cycles (SDLC), and IT best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project success.
• Strong technical understanding of application development, integration, and deployment processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
• Proven track record of delivering IT projects on time, within budget, and with high-quality outcomes.
• Experience in risk management, change management, and quality assurance in an IT project environment.
• Proficient in project management software, collaboration tools, and technical documentation tools.
• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) are highly desirable.
• Fluency in English is a must. Mandarin would be a plus.
• Experience implementing CRM systems is a big plus e.g. Dynamics
