Workspace Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Workspace Engineer to join our ASIA region team. As an Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the end-user computing environment, including desktops, laptops, VDI, and associated software applications. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional end-user experiences.
What does a normal day involve?
• Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to productivity.
• Coordinate with colleagues and peers in Europe, ASIA and Middle East Infrastructure teams.
• Participate in change activity that may be scheduled out of hours
• Follow all operational processes and policies
• Continuous improvement of the Cigna Workspace services.
• Adhering to Information Protection Policies and Business Continuity Plans
You will have:
• Experience as a Workspace Engineer or similar role, supporting and maintaining end-user computing environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with end-users of varying technical backgrounds.
• Experience of using SCCM Technology for staging devices and deploying applications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, and common productivity applications.
• Familiarity with desktop virtualization technologies (VDI).
• In troubleshooting hardware and software issues, both remotely and on-site.
It would be great if you:
• Have automation experience (PowerShell)
• macOS support knowledge
• You have ITIL Certifications
