Job Description

As a Sr. Sales Development Representative, you will support the growth of the Electron Microscopy business within the Materials and Structural Analysis Division, by driving market shares through lead generation and qualification. Intellectual curiosity and passion will provide the opportunity to grow within team, both regionally and globally, as well as across the Thermo Fisher organization. Details are below:
• Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for company growth in new and/or existing accounts and market segments
• Build long-term, positive relationships with customers to qualify leads as sales opportunities
• Qualify and support new opportunities to grow business
• Track progress towards meeting sales goals
• Promote advance product technology and capability with customers
• Develop product positioning, value propositions, and key messaging to be used in our product, marketing campaigns and channels
• Explain how our solution meets customer needs which will acquire extensive research with customers
• Performing regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with customers to ensure their happiness and identify new potential needs
• Coordinate projects with Local, BU and NNP groups and demonstrate unique & outstanding values
• Support to coordinate workshops and site visits targeting new customers
• Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive strategy, and find opportunities for growing through product positioning and differentiation.
• Timely report product marketing management about market trends and competitors status
• Drive the activity of competitive analysis and product strategy to ensure a clear and highly efficient selling activities
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales target
• Conduct market analysis to acquire understanding of the competitive landscape and help establish product differentiators
• Continue improving relationships with key customers and work to develop them into reference customers to support sales
• Build sales collateral and tools that align with the buying process and help move prospects & customers through the sales cycle
• Collaborate with multi-national and cross-functional matrix teams
• Perform monthly pipeline reviews

Education
• Bachelor or Master's Degree in physical or life sciences, material sciences, or engineering, and 3 - 7 years of professional experience in a commercial environment will be considered

• Ability to generate pipeline and business opportunity leads
• Ability to sell strategic and new products to existing and new customers
• Ability to increase our market share by generating new business leads
• Ability to synthesize and integrate customer insights, draw conclusions/implications, and translate information into product requirements, portfolio strategies, and business recommendations.

• Meeting or exceeding pipeline and bookings targets
• Work remotely, to flexible patterns, and with the ability to travel up to 50%
