OVERVIEW

The Department of Finance in the Opus College of Business, University of Saint Thomas, MN, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Finance

We seek outstanding candidates with the potential for excellent teaching, high-quality research, and commitment to service to the Department, College and University. This is a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2022. The Opus College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International and subscribes to several databases and WRDS.

Candidates with expertise in all areas of Finance are welcome to apply. The department offers courses in the undergraduate and several MBA and specialized master’s programs in business, so there are multiple opportunities for teaching.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. (US or foreign equivalent) in Finance or ABD candidates with substantial completion of the Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited institution before September 1st, 2022 will be considered. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and a demonstrated capacity to engage in scholarly research. The successful candidate must be willing to teach in multiple areas of finance at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Applicants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or eligible for legally required exemption such as a medical or religious reason.
