Position
• You are responsible to generate profitable growth whilst strengthening the market position of the company in Belgium (Flanders) and the Netherlands.
• You build the necessary knowledge and strategic relations to deeply understand the customer needs, market – and policy drivers.
• Based on those insights you pro-actively spot opportunities and build (new) value propositions in co-creation with our customers and key-partners.
• Following relevant (public) tenders successfully and leading the bid in close collaboration with the tender manager, operations and finance teams are also part of your responsibility.
• You oversee opportunities for grants in the climate change / energy savings space and manage these projects strategically from proposal over delivery and commercialization.
• As a driving force in the sales management team, you manage the sales plan & funnel for the Flanders and Netherlands market, co-develop the overall sales and marketing strategy and help/ support to develop new customer segments and markets. In addition you identify and manage areas of improvement in sales & marketing processes.
• As a thought leader in your domain, you are present at conferences and animate presentations as well as workshops, etc.
• You report to the CCO and collaborate closely with the operations, finance and PA teams.
Profile
• You are interested in and openminded towards technical and technological advances in the construction, energy and climate change sectors.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing new business, testing these and implementing them, preferably within the retrofit / energy savings/ smart home businesses related environment.
• Building sustainable relations and strategic partnerships are part of your DNA. You are indeed a true star in having in-depth customer conversations about economical drivers, technical requirements and technology enabling you to be a trusted partner.
• Besides your customer orientation, you also have a strong business and commercial instinct. You have the drive to pro-actively spot opportunities, turn it into new business and strengthen a market position.
• You combine a strategic vision with analytical skills and a “down-to-earth” operational approach.
• You are capable and willing to work for a lean and mean organization with high growth ambitions: in other words you are hands-on, entrepreneurial and driven.
• You are a high-energy and stress-resistant team player.
• You have a good understanding of (public) procurement processes.
• You possess excellent project management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• You are Fluent in Dutch and English (French will be highly appreciated, German is an asset).
