Our non-profit organisation POSECO are looking for a Development Manager who wants to grow the association and give it even more impact.

Responsibilities
• Detect calls for tenders, calls for projects, subsidies and all other opportunities to finance the development of the association
• Ability and motivation to write long briefs (Tenders / projects) and partnership proposals
• Build relationships to represent the association and generate new avenues for income
• Transmit the briefing to the team of the files won and ensure their proper execution.

Some additional assets that can also be appreciated (Bonus):
• Knowledge of European funding,
• An active network in companies, organizations and public institutions,
• Experience in the sale of services or in "business development"
• Knowledge of Dutch and English are assets
• An interest in permaculture (nature and human), self-eco-construction, personal development.
Eligibility criteria (This is an "ACS" subsidized contract)
• Be domiciled in the Brussels Capital Region
• Be registered as an unemployed jobseeker with Actiris
• Have at least 6 months of registration (calendar) as an unemployed jobseeker or as a beneficiary of the right to social integration during the year preceding the recruitment, or if 40 years of age or over, have at least 1 full day of unemployment compensated
THE CONTEXT explaining the search for this position
Founded in 2003, POSECO is one of the pioneers of sustainable development. We design and carry out projects and activities related to Sustainable Development (strategy, communication, awareness, training, education, support for entrepreneurs/companies, project management).
A diversification of funding sources should be considered. The majority of our activities are carried out with the support - or at the request - of public authorities and are free for the beneficiaries. Other avenues should be considered depending on positioning and opportunities. For example: Offer our services, methods and tools to organizations, federations and sustainable companies (or wanting to become sustainable). or Imagine and test other sources or forms of financing (European Funds, Partnership, sponsorship, etc.)...
POSECO has a large, undervalued capital. We have very many references, legitimacy in the sector, a large network, but we have also designed a whole series of training courses, tools and methodology that would be completely “recoverable”. On the other hand, the ecosystem is changing and so are the societal challenges. After 20 years of existence, it's the right time to do a “refresh”
