The Electronics Technician Maintenance III position supports the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations Maintenance Program (ATMP) contract. This is a full-time, non-exempt OCONUS position living and working in Kuwait City, Kuwait.

Job duties include:
• Performs all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment – perform PMCS, troubleshoot and isolate faults, use spare/repair parts to repair faults IAW technical guidelines, research and select repair parts needed, and enter work order data in the on-line management information system.
• Applies advanced technical knowledge to troubleshoot and isolate electronic equipment faults that cannot be solved solely by referencing technical manuals.
• Performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
• May interface with FMS customers working at foreign installations; contact company personnel to resolve non-standard maintenance issues; and provide technical advice and advanced troubleshooting procedures within established guidelines and company responsibilities.
• Will be cross-trained to support other TADSS and may be assigned tasks to support other ATMP contract equipment on the installation.
• 3+ years' past experience as an Electronics Technician Maintenance or related position.
• Prefer past work experience with repairing military computer-based simulation devices or related equipment.
• AGTS, TDT, MILES experience a plus.
• Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license. Must be able to read and understand manufacturers' manuals or technical documents.
• Must be able to travel on temporary duty to other installations to perform mainentance.
• Must be US Citizen.
• Must be able to meet requirements to obtain Work Permit and Residency Visa in Kuwait
