We are looking for a pharmacy assistants or technicians with experience or smart and fast learner who want to build a career in retail pharmacy to join our new pharmacy in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Key responsibilities of a Pharmacy Assistant include:
• Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling,
• Data entry of patient care information into Kroll,
• Third Party adjudication (if necessary),
• Accurate dispensing prescription medications,
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
• Handling customer prescription pick up,
• Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or desire to learn new skills
• Experience with Kroll Pharmacy System is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation;
• Strong communication skills;
• Demonstrated customer service experience;
• Strong motivation to succeed;
• Proficient computer/data/entry skills.
WORK HOURS:
• Flexible schedule with some evenings & weekends
