Provide superior support in the Consumer Experience team by assisting new members for all lines of business in transitioning their care to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington. New Member Welcome representatives will ensure members understand the plan they've purchased by providing benefits, ensure members have access to care they need assigning primary care physicians, scheduling appointments as needed, and assisting members in transitioning pharmacy items to an IGP or community pharmacy. Act as a resource for internal and external customers helping to resolve complex care issues. Assist with member retention by providing superior service experiences while resolving complaints and inquires in writing, in person, and over the telephone.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist members who need to transition their care (medical or pharmacy) to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington in partnership with Pre-Service, Pharmacy, and other areas as needed.
• Schedule medical appointments for primary care with IGP providers.
• Respond to complex situations escalated by Customer Service, Sales, Employer Groups, or Brokers.
• Provide level 1 fee estimates
