Shifts available: Night shift, 7pm - 7am, 3 days per week | 7th day split shift with other officer
• *Must be available on weekends, and 2 hours overtime weekly is required.

What You’ll Do

You’ll ensure security, safety, and compliance to maintain quality operations for the REEF Security ecosystem. You’ll build strong relationships with team members, operations managers, and shift supervisors to meet safety standards, from emergency calls to safety enforcement and facility monitoring. If you’ve got a knack for security and passion for safety, we’ve got a Security Officer role just for you!

Ensure Safety & Security
• Perform security duties either at a fixed post, or on patrol or while making rounds within property
• Check for unauthorized persons, general security violations, and fire or safety hazards
• Maintain strong situational awareness to detect and deter suspicious activity

Drive Safety Reporting
• Respond to priority or serious incidents, notify supervisor of conditions, and document all security incidents with proper reports
• Immediately report any accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to the operations manager on duty
• Complete incident reports for damages, theft, or claims

Monitor Visitors
• Ensure all unauthorized persons are removed from the location off the premises
• Unlock secured areas when requested by authorized persons; document all openings on patrol log
• Resolve Conflicts and Emergencies
Respond promptly to all security calls; act as a “first responder” on any scene and notify operations of conditions and outcome
• Diffuse conflicts between individuals on property; work with local law enforcement when necessary

What We Want From You:

Previous security experience with valid Washington security license.
At least 18 years of age
A high school diploma/GED
A reliable means of transportation (public or private) and communication (phone)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and use sound decision making to thrive in fast-paced environment
