At UNICEF COLOMBIA we work to generate positive changes in the lives of children and adolescents. Our current work plan runs from 2021 to the end of 2024 and aims to ensure that children and adolescents enjoy their rights through equitable access to social services, improve their learning and live protected from all types of violence.

We work throughout Colombia, with special focus on the departments where children have fewer opportunities: Chocó, Cauca, Nariño, Antioquia, Córdoba, Amazonas, Putumayo, La Guajira, Caquetá, Atlántico, Arauca and Norte de Santander.

Under the supervision and guidance of the supervisor, the programme associate supports the protection team in the implementation of the Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism on grave violations against children in situations of armed conflict (Resolution 1612 of UN Security Council) and on actions to support the transitional justice system.
• *To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…**

- Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization.
- A minimum of 6 years of progressively work experience in information management, database management, data analysis and report writing is required.
- Experience in child protection within the armed conflict is required.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
