Customer Experience consists of three separate yet unified teams to ensure a positive, holistic, and lasting relationship between the customer and the brand. Warranty & Repairs is one of these teams and exists to service and educate the customer during the post purchase stages. Being a part of this team you will not only efficiently move through our warranty claims, but also humanize this experience for our customers. Your focus is to ensure their Cotopaxi gear can last as long as possible through functional repairs and our circular approach to warrantied items. Whether the claim is because of an epic adventure, coffee shop mishap, or a faulty zipper, your passion for product construction and longevity shines as you help our customers. Our Customer Experience teams thrive on teamwork and in this remote role we strive to build comradery and connection in the workplace wherever you call your office. How You ll Do It (Job Responsibilities): The Experiences We Look to Create:
• Customer care matters! You strive to always maintain a high level of customer service, communicating options and outcomes to customers while ensuring a positive experience while upholding our Brand promise: Guaranteed for Good TM .
• Claims all-star - vet warranty & repair claims and determine the next best step for our customer and their product.
• Details matter to you - you're organized and focus on accuracy and efficiency with every claim.
• Multitask is your middle name. You will manage multiple claims within your inbox with the goal of keeping it at zero(!).
Operations and Expectations:
• We want to provide the best experience for our customers - having a quiet workspace and reliable internet is key.
• Digital communication wizard! You not only own customer communication, but you are a reliable resource for your department by staying involved and current on team news and updates across multiple platforms.
• Availability to work 25hrs/week - 5hr shifts Monday - Friday between 9am - 5pm MST.
• You can happily work throughout the holiday season increasing to 29hrs/week from November - January.

• An outdoor gear head, with hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining gear.
• An eye for detail. Can distinguish defective causes from accidental causes.

• You not only radiate positivity through conversations with customers, but also with your team!
• A team player, but also an all-star on your own. Takes direction and runs with it.
• A humanitarian at heart, and someone who believes in our Do Good mission.
Your Experiences:
• 1+ years of Customer Service experience.
• Significant understanding of (and stoke for) product construction in outdoor apparel and gear.
• Our CX channel is growing and evolving, so you ll be evolving with it too! We value a strong capacity for collaboration, creative-thinking, and adaptability.
• If you ve got experience working in the outdoor industry, that s cool too (but not necessary).
Requirements
At least 18 years old.
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Currently located in Utah, Idaho, Colorado, or Wyoming.
1+ years of Customer Service experience.
Significant understanding of product construction in outdoor apparel and gear including hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining gear.
Available to work part-time Monday - Friday between 9:00am - 5:00pm MST (5hr shift blocks each day).
