Job Compensation: $120-160k plus annual bonus.

Job Overview (What You ll Do):

Cotopaxi s hands-on Director of Business Systems, with excellent NetSuite ERP system implementation, leads our Business Systems Development team while caring deeply about the technical side of operations. This role will manage service delivery and website/systems reliability and scalability including architecture, planning, reporting, configuration and build, testing, and deployment of solutions; and will be accountable for all aspects including managing technical resources (partners/subcontractors and staff), scheduling, risk management, internal and external communications, status reporting, and resource management (internal and partners), reporting to the VP of Technology.

This person must be able to coordinate well between a variety of vendors and technical experts. This role is for someone who is an excellent communicator, able to eliminate jargon when necessary, yet able to dive deep into technical details when working with development staff. They can take complete ownership of the technical implementation of projects and ensure that no stone is left unturned to avoid risks. They also take quality very seriously and work to quantify and evaluate new ways of measuring quality to ensure application uptime and a positive user experience. They are also an avid learner, keeping up to date with new technology to evaluate its impact on our organization.

Job Responsibilities (How You ll Do It):
• Effectively lead the development and operations and cross-functional teams in a hyper-growth fast-paced environment.
• Lead business requirement gathering sessions in collaboration with project managers and ensure a best-fit solution.
• Maintain accurate program estimates, timelines, project plans, and status reports.
• Develop and maintain the current state of business processes and systems.
• Execute roadmaps, solution architecture, release planning, preparation, validation, post-release monitoring, performance, and maintenance.
• Responsible for complex technical management coordination with multiple vendors and staff.
• Be in-house subject matter expert of NetSuite and other business systems.
• Create complex workflows, integrations, and documentation of customizations.
• Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated to the product development initiatives.
• Assign and monitor work of technical personnel, ensuring that application development and deployment is done in the best possible way.
• Implement quality control and review systems throughout the development and deployment processes.
• Provide process improvement recommendations based on best practices and industry standards.
• Be an advocate for security and performance standards in the organization.

Experiences to Highlight (What You Need to Succeed):
• 5+ years of experience in an inventory-based, ideally consumer brand business, demonstrating increasing scope and responsibility.
• 4+ years of NetSuite experience (NetSuite certifications preferred).
• Experience with middleware such as Celigo or Dell Bhumi.
• Previous experience with EDI implementations (ideally SPSCommerce).
• Previous experience with Shopify.
• Demonstrated track record of leading teams and process improvements.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Sound knowledge on APIs and system integrations (ERP, WMS, CRM, PLM, etc.).
• Should have Think with an Automation First mindset.
• Ability to quickly identify and drive to the optimal solution considering possible constraints.
• Good understanding of agile scrum principles.
• Excellent judgment, analytical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience working in the Tech/SaaS industries.
• Self-motivated, possessing excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship-building skills, and ability to achieve results without direct reporting relationships.
• Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work, both personally and at a team level.

The salary range for this position is $120-160k, and will be based on the experience that you bring to the table.
