Job Overview:

At Cotopaxi, people are always at the heart of what we do, and in our Distribution Center you not only support our customers' direct orders, but also our brick & mortar storefronts, wholesalers, and more! As the Retail Lead you will oversee inbound and outbound orders for all retail stores as well as support any needs for our upcoming store locations. They/she/he is a motivated and driven leader who has experience in shipping and receiving while managing a small team to ensure retail stores replenishments are consistent and timely to best support our retail channel and its customers.

Our DC is located at 1737 S 5350 W in Salt Lake City. This is a Full-Time position, and shifts being: 8 am - 4 pm M-F.

What You’ll Do (Job Responsibilities):

Operations and Expectations:
• Pick, pack, and ship orders in our distribution center to send to Cotopaxi retail stores.
• Deliver local fulfillment orders to Utah store fronts as needed.
• Communicate cross-functionally with the Cotopaxi retail team to provide accurate timelines and shipping updates.
• Oversee a small team to meet shipping deadlines.
• Provide accurate reporting in the Warehouse Management System.
• Assist other areas of the warehouse depending on seasonal volumes (cycle counting, unloading shipments, etc).
• Help to keep the distribution center organized and clean.
• Operate equipment including reach trucks, order pickers, and double jacks (training available).
• You don’t mind being on your feet and can lift 50lbs.

Your Experiences:
• 1 - 3 years of experience working in a warehouse - you understand and enjoy the work!
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and has previous experience with a Warehouse Management System to pack and ship orders.
• Experience in leadership and overseeing a team.
• Managing a large bucket of inventory, often with a tight space capacity.
• Receiving shipments with 100 SKUs.
• Valid driver's license.
• Prior forklift experience is preferred.
