IT will provide technology solutions, expert consultation, and leadership, resulting in numerous enhancements to the advancement of learning and knowledge and the effectiveness of campus support services and business processes for the entire University. The Client Services unit provides a client:

oriented environment in the delivery, support, security, and management of campus IT computing services, IDM, end:
point devices, and technology:
enhanced learning spaces. The department provides client technology services and support for University students, faculty, and staff. The Client Services unit is comprised of teams of IT professionals providing a wide variety of technology support services to the campus academic and administrative divisions. The Client Services department includes:
Classroom Support, Computer Lab Support, Technical Support, IT Asset Management, Client Infrastructure, and the IT Support Services team. The IT Support Services team provides the campus with a single point of contact for first:
line information technology support requests and campus operator services. IT Support Service team members are responsible for the central IT Service Desk, Student Tech Desk, and campus information operator services. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide vision, leadership and direct management oversight for the centralized campus IT service desk team, student tech desk technical staff, campus information operators, and student assistants. As needed, escalate and coordinate service desk tickets to appropriate technical support groups and/or appropriate managers. Five years of IT experience with increasing responsibilities in the management, supervision, coordination, and direction of information technology services, help desk operations, IT professionals, and/or projects
