The Division for IT provides innovative, strategic and cost-appropriate technology services in collaboration with the campus community to advance the mission of the University. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communications, Marketing, & Social Media Support
Under the supervision of the Executive Director for IT Business Operations, makes recommendations to the IT&IP Division Leadership Team on divisional publication goals and policy issues regarding marketing strategies, cost effectivness, and delivery of IT&IP communications. Supports and prepares an integrated marketing plan, including web development, social media, publications, and email communications from multiple departments. Develops, implements and manages service-oriented marketing and communications programs and strategies to promote IT&IP’s products and services to the campus community. Communicates directly to IT&IP staff and faculty and staff outside of IT&IP, such as university management and public relations media colleagues, identifying the needs and interests of constituent groups and selecting the best medium to achieve goals within given deadlines. In collaboration with the Web Development team, designs, develops and maintains the IT&IP Division website, including working with division leadership or designees
Provides resources and assistance to the division and departments on the correct use of the University, Division, and department logos, fonts, and other graphic elements, as appropriate, on website pages and marketing materials. Communicates directly to IT&IP staff and faculty and staff outside of IT&IP, such as university management and public relations media colleagues, identifying the needs and interests of constituent groups.
