Dean, College of Engineering Academic Search is assisting Cal Poly Pomona in this search. References will not be contacted without the prior knowledge and approval of the candidate and at a later stage in the searchThe UniversityCal Poly Pomona is one of three polytechnic universities in the 23-campus California State University system and among 12 such institutions nationwide. The Dean also provides leadership to the college and university on various initiatives to promote the elements of a polytechnic education, collaboration and active engagement of faculty, staff, students, alumni and community partners and transparency. The Dean will also be a champion for equity, diversity, and inclusion, and for student success, including professional development and success. The Dean is responsible for managing the human and fiscal resources of the College and supporting the professional development of faculty and staff. The Dean is the lead administrator in the college and as such represents the college to the faculty, staff, students, community and donors. The ideal candidate for this position will be an innovative, strategic, and collegial academic leader who understands the mission of Cal Poly Pomona, is committed to student success, and will be a champion for the College of Engineering.
