SACS works closely with the Financial Aid Office as well as the Registrars Office to ensure that the disbursement of financial aid and enrollment are properly coordinated. Responsible for working closely with the Parking Office and the Accountant II in the Student Accounting area with troubleshooting the variances between bank reconciliation and the parking system. Works closely with the Lead Systems Analyst and the Manager of Cashiering Services in with troubleshooting all areas of parking. Serves as the back-up to the disbursement analyst and is responsible for processing all Financial Aid disbursements and refunds in excess of $100 million annually to the student account via the PeopleSoft Student Financials System as required. As the back-up, this position works closely with the Office of Financial Aid, the Registrars Office as well as University Accounting Services to make sure that refunds are processed in a timely manner. Works closely with the Registrar and the Financial Aid Office to assist students who have problems with adding and dropping classes or have questions and concerns with the information that is reflected on their student account in the PeopleSoft Student Information System (PS). Works closely with the various entities to ensure that the student's account reflects the correct balances. Progressively responsible financial record keeping experience or a combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the job.
