JOB DESCRIPTION

The Expeditor position is all important and key to providing excellence in operation. You are the central hub of communication between the kitchen and servers

Responsibilities
• Ensure that kitchen orders have been properly prepared by kitchen.
• Add any necessary garnishes or condiments to the dish.
• Deliver the prepared and finalized plates to the guest’s table.
• Understand pivot point positions, table numbers as to not auction food during delivery process.
• Understands the company policy on dealing with guest preference and allergies.
• Communicate with kitchen on meal timing.
• Communicate with servers during guest’s visit.
• Responsible for keeping things flowing and getting orders delivered to tables as quickly as possible.
• Be constantly aware of factors such as food safety and temperature that is being delivered to guests.
• Responsible for managing guest requests at the table quickly and with a smile.

REQUIREMENTS
• High school Diploma or its equivalent required.
• Minimum (2) years of restaurant experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills required.
• Must possess general knowledge of all phases of full-service dining and food and beverage service procedures.
• Must be able to read and comprehend English to read tickets.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the restaurant.
• Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, restaurant environment and effectively deal with customers, management, and employees in all situations.
