Company Overview:
Qene Games is Ethiopia’s first game development studio, with a vision to be the premiere mobile game development studio in Africa and help publish fun and engaging African-inspired mobile games across the world. The creator of Kukulu, Gebeta, and Tras mobile games, Qene won the best entertainment app and best app of the year at the Apps Africa Awards for its first two games. Qene is also a member of the Pan-African Gaming Group (PAGG) which is focused on developing and publishing locally relevant content that is relatable to African gamers. Our mission is to build a sustainable gaming industry on the African continent by providing development resources, content, and a distribution platform where African mobile game creators can collaborate and publish games.
Operations Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
• Assisting the manager with operational issues
• Taking trips to private and public offices to represent the company in essential business activities
• Scheduling meetings and teams building sessions as required
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with vendors
• Acting as the point of contact between the executives and internal or external colleagues
• Answer phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate party.
• Preparing and filing forms and other documents
• Assisting the recruitment and onboarding processes
• Taking inventory and ordering office supplies as needed
Academic Qualifications
● Bachelor degree in Accounting, Management, Marketing, Business administration, or related field
Years of experience
● More Than two years of relevant experience
