We are seeking a skilled Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will conduct thorough research, pitch ideas, compile data/information, and write high-quality content in various voices and tones (to be utilized for multiple purposes, including social media, web, script writing, etc). The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical thinker with excellent writing, editing, and research skills.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth research on a variety of topics and industries
• Pitch ideas for content development
• Compile data and information from a variety of sources, including primary and secondary sources
• Write high-quality content in various voices and tones
• Ensure all content is factually accurate, grammatically correct, and free of errors
• Edit and proofread content as necessary to ensure it meets quality standards
• Collaborate with other team members, including designers and editors, to ensure content is on-brand and aligns with company/client goals and objectives
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure content is fresh and engaging
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field (equally acceptable is two years or more experience in a similar position)
• 2+ years of experience in writing, research, or related field
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills
• Ability to write in a variety of voices and tones
• Strong attention to detail and ability to fact-check content
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other team members
• Familiarity with content management systems, SEO, and social media platforms is a plus
