he Team TLD is an embedded team of learning professionals who take our role seriously as Transmission's trusted learning partner. TLD's key offerings include onboarding, role-based learning programs, continuous process improvement (CPI), operational reporting and human performance improvement (HPI). We are committed to transmitting power through learning. You will be trusted to:
o Support all facets our of craft and technical training programs o Work with departmental subject matter experts to perform job task analyses and curriculum design for craft and technical learning programs o Serve as a resource for new Transmission Construction and Maintenance employees, supporting departmental onboarding processes o Support the team's training and learning management systems as needed o Perform test proctoring, training record administration and progress reporting o Support and schedule craft and technical trainings as needed o Support TS Learning & Development's strategic initiative work, including leading assigned projects o Support and/or lead instructional design efforts for the team delivering quality learning solutions that support business needs o Serve as a resource for new Transmission employees and help drive the team's efforts of continuous improvement You qualify with:
- Six or more years of experience in the design, delivery and implementation of technical training and or learning and development. A degree(s) in education, electrical systems or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience. - Driver's license You are a great fit with:
- Experience in the utility industry - Experience in designing, developing, and delivering learning and development programs - Strong presentation and public speaking skills - Skill in establishing credibility, trust, and partnership at all levels of the organization - Intermediate skill in applying best practices and new trends in a practical way that appropriately fits the organization - Intermediate skill in effectively partnering with leaders to design ad hoc/custom learning and development solutions - Strong communication skills, including verbal and written to all levels of an organization - Skill in using learning management systems
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
