- Estimate task duration, prioritize, and distribute work across a team of Engineering Technicians. - In charge of as-built activities in the structural, civil, and substation subject areas for substation projects. - Mentor and provide opportunities for growth for junior staff. - Be the point of contact for as-built needs in the substation area, including outsourced as-built projects. - Provide progress reports, communicate issues, and work plans. - Coordinate with other team leads for multi-disciplinary projects. - Provide recommendations and improvements to department processes and procedures. You qualify with:
- Nine or more years of experience in drafting, design or engineering, including five or more years of experience in electric utility or energy related projects. - A degree(s) in business, records management, engineering or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience. You are a great fit with:
- Direct design experience in one or more of the following substation-related areas:
Structural, Civil, Relay and Control, and Electrical Design. - Familiarity with Engineering Document Management systems such as Blue Cielo Meridian or similar. - Familiarity integrating digital mark-ups in the support of engineering projects.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
