Lower Colorado River Authority is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Facility Maintenance Tech to work at our south Austin location. In this position you will have the opportunity to operate, maintain, and repair a variety of buildings and systems. You will expand and develop your own skills while assisting with the training and development of less tenured employees. We will provide everything you need to succeed, including tools, uniforms, and schedule options.

You will be trusted to:
• Maintain and repair buildings, grounds, and structures including carpentry, painting, locksmith, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related work as required.
• Perform routine daily inspections of assigned buildings and spaces.
• Perform detailed site inspections as assigned. Identify discrepancies, generate work requests, coordinate vendors as needed, recommend future repair and maintenance projects and monitor/track equipment condition.
• Complete daily work tickets.
• Maintain building lighting systems, including bulb and ballast repair or replacement.
• Utilize BMS system to operate and adjust HVAC and lighting system settings and schedules.
• Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records, operating logs, and files where appropriate, to include, preventive maintenance logs, inventory, inspection logs, and service tickets.
• Maintain grounds, irrigation, and water features as needed.
• Assist with moves and event setups as needed.
• Order parts and materials as needed.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure/alarms, leaks, etc.).

You qualify with:
• Two more years of experience in building and grounds maintenance
• Driver's license

You are a great fit with:
• BOMA Certification
• Drywall repair and painting experience
• Electrical, HVAC, or plumbing experience
• Prior experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• A strong work ethic, sense of ownership, and positive attitude
