DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not limited to the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work.
• To monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage and response times to maintain operating systems efficiency.
• To provide Helpdesk assistance, receiving and responding to calls for assistance, identifying and researching problems, providing assistance and instruction, making repairs, and/or contact appropriate vendors for service as needed. Monitor work of service vendors to ensure proper completion of repairs. Provide quality technical solutions and outstanding customer services to partners.
• To perform basic systems security administration functions, including creating of customer profiles and accounts.
• To review real-time and historical reports for security and/or compliance violations.
• To monitor online security-related resources for new and emerging cyber threats.
• To maintain system documentation and logs.
• To review, investigate, and respond to real-time alerts within the environment.
• To ensure the smooth running of application and business services.
• To develop, coordinate and conduct user training, education and problem solving sessions.
• To perform preventive maintenance to preclude major hardware outages or degradation to customer service.
• To perform other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
• University Degree in I.T or technical qualifications from recognised I.T bodies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Forensic approach to challenges.
• Technical knowledge of enterprise-class technologies such as firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, VPNs, and desktop and server operating systems. Hands-on knowledge on Windows Server environment and features.
• Concepts and administration of computer and network operating systems and applications, including practices and methods of systems administration and maintenance.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN environment and file access methods.
• Knowledge of voice, video and data communication techniques and technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
