About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor who will be responsible for all logistics operations at the warehouse and for upholding all policies outlined in the Logistics Global Policy Manual. You will ensure all receipt, storage, distribution, reconciliation, and security of inventory at the warehouse. You will also be responsible for temporary hires, organize pay and ensure the security of all staff at the warehouse

Responsibilities

Below is a list of specific duties the Logistics Supervisor is expected to conduct to adequately fulfil the job responsibilities.

Guaranteeing Operational Excellence in the Warehouse and Organization
• Responsible for compliance with all warehousing and logistics policies which include warehouse excellence, expectations around reconciliation, and more
• Serve OAF farmers with on-time, cost-effective deliveries through the execution of planning and best practices.
• Ensure exceptional KPI performances for all regional warehouses: 0.1% shrink, 0.25% variance, and timely monthly reconciliation (by the 3rd of the month).

Team Management and Training
• Manage the warehouses to uphold OAF warehousing and operational standards.
• Build team capability through training and professional development support.
• Manage warehouse resources and tools and ensure compliance with 5S standards

Manage Inventory through Transactional Integrity
• Submit all documentation/transactions promptly
• Immediately alert HQ with any suspected theft, fraud, unexpected disappearance of inputs, or tampering with inputs, regardless of quantity.
• Facilitate on-site inspection of all warehouse documents by internal or third-party auditors.

KPIs & Metrics
• Warehouse Shrink < 0.1% monthly
• Warehouse Absolute Variance <0.25% monthly
• Warehouse counts are done and submitted by the last day of each month
• All transactions entered into SAP within 24 hours of completion
• The warehouse checklist is done and submitted monthly

Qualifications

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have the following:
• At least 2 years of experience in supply chain and warehouse management
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel for simple data analysis
• Written and spoken fluency in Chichewa and English
• Education: Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or another relevant field
• Can spend long hours standing and walking and see clearly
• Willing to travel within the country periodically as requested by HQ
• Willing to work long hours, during Core Input Distribution
