Reserve Bank of Malawi
The Reserve Bank of Malawi is inviting applications for the under listed positions tenable at its Head Office in Lilongwe, Blantyre and Mzuzu Branches.
ECONOMIST (3 POSITIONS)
Reporting to the Senior Economist, the successful candidates will, among other duties, be responsible for:
The Job:
• Collecting and compiling economic and financial data;
• Drafting macroeconomic sectoral reports;
• Conducting analysis of macroeconomic accounts; and
• Maintaining macroeconomic models.
The Person (s):
The ideal candidate should satisfy the following:
• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics obtained from reputable institutions;
• Must be aged between 22 and 30 years;
• Must be computer literate
Must have
(a) Good knowledge of economics and statistical skills;
(b) Good knowledge of linkages of macroeconomic accounts
(c) Good drafting, analytical and presentation skills
(d) Good planning, interpersonal and organizing skills
(e) Must have good statistical skills;
