• Job Title: Manager Talent Acquisition
• Reports to: Director Human Resources
• Location: Kigali International Airport
• Job Purpose:

The Manager Talent Acquisition is responsible for the design, development and execution of the talent acquisition Operations. The role ensure that talented candidates are sourced, screened and hired in line with the overall company strategy and growth targets. This role is key in building a strong employment brand and making us an employer of choice. The role is also responsible for gathering and analyzing employment data, for the purpose of short term and long term forecasting of recruitment needs within the various divisions.
• Key Responsibilities Strategic
• Develop Talent acquisition solutions direct and non-direct to attract the appropriate level and quality of candidates.
• Strategic partner and influencer to provide recruitment outcomes to the different divisions in line with corporate growth and people plans.

Operational
• *
• Develops Talent Acquisition policies, processes and systems to ensure effective, legally compliant and business focused recruitment, selection and on boarding of new talent.
• Responsible for recruiting the most suitable candidates as per the approved Workforce Plan and budget within set timeframes using the most cost effective methods.
• Pre-emptively source and pipeline talent or identify talent pools, in anticipation of set targets/needs to ensure time to hire aligns with accepted best practice.
• Identify 'hard-to-fill roles'and put sourcing plans and measure in place to ensure time to hire in such roles are reduced.
• Ensure effective screening of applicants to shortlist candidates for selection process.
• Provide comprehensive selection decision support to line managers to ensure that shortlisting, screening and interviewing results in the selection of best candidates.
• Lead and set standards for the implementation of the e-recruitment plans to ensure optimal system utilization.
• Maintain an IT systems data bank for monitoring, record keeping and candidate information to provide a computerized record system for future reference.

• Influence compliance through example setting for a paperless, automated, candidate experience that is compliant with local and international data protection standards.
• Drives applicant and candidate engagement and ensure that every applicant departs as a potential customer in the air.
• Monitor metrics and use LEAN techniques to prevent waste and achieve efficiencies.
• Establishing and monitoring set KPIs for efficient and high quality recruitment services and addressing gaps with appropriate measures.
• Acting as front line contact with key stakeholders in the business; providing outstanding recruitment service which fulfils business current and future recruitment needs.
• Accountable for the implementation of generic templates for campaign data collection and success ratio reports.
• Accountable for the weekly / monthly reports and updates which provides insights into progress and potential recruitment risks.
• Consult with relevant experts and providers and support the development and maintenance of assessment methodologies to promote consistency and best practice in selection of qualified candidates (both internal and external) against job descriptions.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Additional Accountabilities
• Identify educational institutions and attend career and college fairs and similar events to help promote and source both interns and potential young talent that will support our people strategy.
• Job Requirements
• Education and Experience: Essential
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource management or other management related fields with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience.
• Experience as an in-house recruiter with 5 years' managerial experience.
• Job Specific Skills: Essential
• Excellent command of English & Kinyarwanda language both verbal and written.
• Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
