Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

We are looking for our next team member to join the European Distribution Sales Team, reporting to the leader of the EMEA Distribution. This new role will be responsible for accelerating Cradlepoint’s distribution business in Europe, with a focus on Germany and several countries in Central Europe. This important role will be driving business development by evangelizing Cradlepoint technology, building sales programs, enabling sales teams through training, and managing executive relationships are key expectations. The Distribution Account Manager is responsible for supporting Cradlepoint’ s distribution growth, strategy, and tactics across EMEA.

This role is instrumental in driving both sales acceleration and execution via the distributor eco-system in our market and is assigned to a specific distributor per region or account(s). This role works cross functionally with the partner team, operations, and sales. This role requires several years of experience in a relevant Distribution business / business development role including a proven track record of managing an account with communication skills, and relationships management within the assigned account(s) is expected.

What Will You Do?
• Develop established, trusted relationships with the key “go to” distributors contacts
• Train and motivate distribution sales, marketing, operations, and business development resources to drive and facilitate Cradlepoint solution sales
• Business planning: Develop go-to-market plans with assigned distributors to meet revenue and business goals including partner recruit and development
• Communicate and support policy, process / process improvements, ramp, and onboarding
• Revenue growth: Drive increased sales through distribution managed partners and through practice development
• Effectively leverage and communicate distributor’s goals and performance
• Be a trusted advisor for your assigned distribution account(s)
• Expert knowledge of the two-tier technology distribution and reseller sales process
• Balance of analytic/process and relationship/people skills (a sales professional that is not afraid of pivot tables and not ready to get your hands dirty executing)
• Ability to travel up to ~30-40% of the time

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of both the networking (router) and mobility (4/5G cellular data) space
• Five to ten (5-10) years of relevant experience
• Mininum of four (4) years working for or supporting distribution
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Analytically driven, demonstrated ability as a creative problem solver, with high energy and a strong sense of urgency
• Comfortable with change and a bit of ambiguity that is part of a hyper-growth company
• Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills
• Strong project management capability
• Experience and relationships with Distributors and a two-tier channel model
• Ability to influence and project-manage internal cross-functional teams
• Strong experience in operations, reporting and business tracking through different tools: Sales Force & Tableau
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and sales skills
• Proactive orientation, and highly motivated
• Collaborative & a standout colleague
• Financial and sales acumen
• Willing to travel as needed
