Introduction
Basic training in hydraulics and pneumatics
Duties & Responsibilities
Carry out planned maintenance as instructed.
Carry out daily plant checks as instructed.
Attend to breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs in shortest possible time.
Accurately record all work done on job cards or on planned maintenance schedules
Report all serious defects on machines to mechanical foreman.
Carry out safety inspections on equipment and plant as instructed.
Undertake installations and modifications of equipment and plant as instructed.
Undertake any reasonable request from the manager.
To work overtime when required
Ability to work shifts.
Standby when needed.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Thorough knowledge and understanding of mechanical drive and boxes, hydraulics, pneumatics and water, air and steam reticulation
Thorough knowledge and understanding of mechanical equipment and tools in the industry
Ability to fault find and solve problems
To be practivally inclined and have ability to work with hands and tools
Ability to read and understnad mechanical drawings
