Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the regulatory reporting team to gain a comprehensive understanding of various regulatory reports
• Assist in the production of regulatory reports by gathering relevant data, performing data analysis, and ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with the IT team to standardize the subject and content of auto email alerts and report production, ensuring consistency and clarity in communication
• Support the manager in managing incoming requests and tasks
• Assist in prioritizing and allocating tasks to team members based on workload and deadlines
• Assist in managing files and folders, organizing and maintaining a structured file system to enhance accessibility and data management
• Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with best practices and company policies

Required

Profile required
• Currently studying towards a Bachelors or Masters degree with relevant program
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver high-quality work
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook for email management
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established guidelines and procedures
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
• Working for the collective good, going beyond one's one agenda
• Good team player with ability to drive initiatives cross-departments for a common goal
• Flexible and proactive to adapt to a changing environment
• Good communication skills
• Fluent English is mandatory

This is a 1–3-month full-time internship with Societe Generale in Hong Kong whereby you will work within one business line / support function for the period. In order to apply for an internship opportunity with us, please ensure you are currently studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and that you are available for the 1–3-month period on a full-time basis.

Department Description

Regulatory Reporting Production Team in SG Hong Kong is in charge of the production, oversight, investigation, and remediation as well as implementation of new regulatory requirements. Working as part of the team, you will be responsible for tasks related to the regulatory reporting production, turning data into knowledge to improve our day-to-day operations and accelerate the development of innovative data-driven solution of the regulatory reporting production for Asia Pacific regions.
