As the Lead IT Security Engineer, you will be providing thought leadership and hands-on support across the organization to continuously improve our cybersecurity posture with a focus on building identity and data governance programs.

Location: This role will work in a remote environment with occasional travel (less than 25%) to Naperville, IL, or Battle Creek, MI

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Lead the design and build activities for new cybersecurity capabilities, tools, and services with an emphasis on network controls and analyze and recommend improvements for security control process and technology.
• Serve as a technical liaison between manufacturing, business, IT, developers, and other engineering resources from a cybersecurity standpoint.
• Respond to security incidents and provide guidance across the organization on effective incident response processes.
• Create and manage performance metrics (KPI | KRI) to measure the effectiveness of new and existing cybersecurity capabilities, tools, and services.
• Document technical security standards for implementing enterprise security policies and provide mentoring and security training to other members of the team.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
• 3+ years’ enterprise in security engineering or operations experience.
• 1+ years’ cloud experience required with hands-on implementation experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of multi-cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS environments.
• Expertise in modern malware, TTPs and security vulnerabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of NIST CSF or MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
• Advanced knowledge of security tools (SAML/Directory Services, Anti-Virus, Endpoint Detection and Response, Data Loss Prevention, Next-Gen Firewall, and Security Information and Event Management).
• Proactive problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills to influence management, as well as internal and external partners.
