Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. We are engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for our customers.

We operate or own equity interests in assets in the Rocky Mountains, North-central Pennsylvania, and Texas, including approximately 16,000 miles of petroleum and natural gas pipelines and over 100 gathering, treating, and processing facilities.

Process Safety Management (PSM) Foreman

Job Summary

This position will provide a leadership role for the Process Safety Management (PSM) team and will be in South Texas

Responsibilities
• Engage with Western Midstream teams located in Maverick Basin, the Corporate Operations Center and other areas in the Southern Region, and provide guidance according to our company policy for Process Safety Management
• Administration of the Management of Change (MOC) program which includes, but is not limited to, change approvals, start-up approvals, development of operating procedures, hazard evaluation, training of personnel on changes, and updating of Process Safety Information
• Be actively involved in the updating of existing programs and in the development, roll-out and implementation of new programs
• Training in all aspects of Process Safety Management (PSM) and applying the program to our Operations Teams
• Provide oversight on various Findings, Recommendation and Tasks associated with PSM. This can include Audit, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), MOC, Emergency Response, etc.
• Interface with federal and state agencies, i.e., OSHA, EPA, DOT, State Environmental/Safety Agencies, etc. as required
• Establish a leadership group to assist in all areas of compliance for South Texas by actively engaging Plant and Field Operations, HSSE, and WES DOT personnel to coordinate and streamline compliance activities
• Provides day-to-day technical oversight to staff and become actively involved to meet schedules and resolve problems

Qualifications
• Minimum of HS Diploma or GED required
• Associates Degree, trade school or applicable professional certifications preferred
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience of Process Safety Management (PSM) and/or Risk Management Plan (RMP) within an operating compression, gas processing, LNG, Petrochemical or Refining facility
• Highly computer literate including spreadsheet, email, & word processing applications
• Previous work in a leadership role preferred

Certifications/Licenses
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required

Travel Requirements
• The percentage of travel required for this position is 0-10%

Work Schedule
• This schedule is a 9/80 work schedule or 5/40 work schedule and must live in the South Texas area

Work Location
• This position will office primarily out of the Carrizo Office, Brasada Gas Plant or Mainline CDP Plant
