Our client is one of the largest private hospitals in Malaysia. They offer advanced diagnostic, therapeutic and intensive care facilities and quality medical services. With over 120 practising consultants across a wide range of medical and surgical disciplines they are supported by a dedicated team of management and allied healthcare staff with varying qualifications.

Job Description

Reporting to the Group CEO and Group HR, the Director, Human Resource will be responsible to provide leadership and direction for the Company to drive the Company to be the Employer of Choice. The Director, Human Resource is responsible for developing, planning, and delivering the full spectrum of HR functions for the Company.

The role:
• Facilitate the development and implementation of HR initiatives, strategies, and policies to support the business plan.
• Align HR services to business needs
• Establish and implement HR policy framework covering Employee Relations and Communications; Employee Health & Wellbeing, Performance Management, Remuneration and Benefits; Resourcing; HR System and Processes.
• Establish and implement Leadership Pipeline and Talent Management (LPTM) to ensure continual success and sustainability of the business.
• Develop and evaluate a framework for managing conflict, grievances and disputes.
• Develop strategies for employee engagement.
• Enable organizational workforce capability.
• Develop and evaluate strategies for learning and development.
• Foster Company’s core values (Compassion, Competence and Collaboration), service, safety and ethics in the work culture.
• Develop and implement employee communications plan.

Qualifications
• Basic university degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent. Master in Human Resource Management, Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in the full spectrum of human resources management
• Proven leadership and stakeholders management experience
• Good knowledge, understanding, interpretation, and application of Employment Act 1955 and local Labor practices.
• Good knowledge, understanding, and application of the Industrial Relations Act.
• Good understanding of Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF), Employees’ Social Security (SOCSO), and EIS & HRDF / 2001 PSMB Act
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
