A Marketing Manager primary responsibility is making sure people know about the resort, its amenities and services. You will collaborate with hotel management; sales, marketing and revenue management to make sure guests will want to choose our resort. You will develop and oversee different type of marketing campaigns such as those that use social media, print, TV, radio, publications and email – particularly for the local market.

What will I be doing?

As Marketing Manager, you will perform the following tasks:
• Proposes and implements hotel specific marketing strategies, including website and social media
• Monitors & reports marketing trends, tools and applications specific to the hotel industry and target market(s).
• Provides input to hotel marketing strategy, measures and reports impact of marketing strategies
• Work with Revenue Management to ensure revenue management potential is maximized on key marketing strategies, including approved third party websites.
• Generates and delivers monthly marketing analyses and updates to Commercial team
• Develop strategies and tactics to drive resort awareness and interest to drive traffic to the resort
• Plan and execute successful marketing campaigns for the resort and all its amenities and services, including the Weddings, Group, Catering, Food & Beverage outlets, spa and recreations – you will also evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make adjustments accordingly
• Responsible for content creation and content curation – including copywriting, photography, videography and more
• Responsible for guest and public communication, informing guests of upcoming key events, happening, scheduled maintenance etc.
• Responsible for creating and publishing the resort & team member newsletter – the resort newsletter is designed to inform and engage guests about internal happenings at the resort, including Food & Beverage offerings, activities, news, meeting the staff and learning more about the local culture
• Work with Marketing Team to manage content updates across all channels, including print, publications, the resort’s website and other third party sites
• Manage the marketing budget; responsible for allocating and investing funds wisely
• Lead for collateral and printed materials for the property, including hotel signage and other media to ensure that these are in line with brand
• Develop strong relationships with customers through reputation management, e.g. reading Trip Advisor reviews and making sure that reviews are addresses/responded to
• Work collaboratively with key internal departments such as F&B, spa and recreation to develop and promote special events or promotions that will drive business
• Cultivate and maintain strong and positive media relationships with the local media & influencers. Monitor press coverage and maintain media clippings and coordinate press, influencer and on-site visits
• You will support the marketing team in handling media requests
• Support the Commercial Director and Senior department leadership in any special projects

Supportive Functions: In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform supportive functions such as:

• Collaborate with the brand and the Destination Marketing Team to leverage on brand-wide offers and promotions
• E-commerce and Digital support – updating website, vanity site and other third party sites
• Support Revenue Management with offers, promotions, email blasts etc.
• Support the Sales Team with Group, Wholesaler, Wedding Offers and Flyers
• Social Media Support
• Public Relations Support
• Media Plan Management
• Marketing Budget Management
