ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervises housekeeping staff as duties are being performed
• Supervises the duties and tasks of laundry staff
• Stocks and maintains supply rooms; orders supplies according to a budget
• Receives, processes, and handles guest complaints in regard to housekeeping services
• Ensures that rooms are kept clean and free from hazards
• Ensures that all common areas are kept clean and free from hazards
• Drafting/ Implementing the SOPs in relation to all housekeeping tasks and health & safety protocols
• Ensuring that all guest rooms and common areas of the resort are always kept clean
• Greet guest in a friendly and professional manner in all interactions
• Perform all room turn-over tasks, ensuring proper cleaning and sterilization
• Listen and attend to guest requests in a timely manner, liaising with relevant departments where necessary
• Work alongside other housekeepers to assist with cleaning and maintenance duties
• Report any technical or maintenance issues immediately
• Complete necessary paperwork as is required
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Training and experience in housekeeping
• Ability to take instructions/ training
• Understanding/ ability to learn health & safety plus COVID-19 protocols
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be willing to be on call
• Must be able to stand/ be on their feet for long hours

• Ability to multitask and remain organized, calm and proactive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to remain motivated and self-driven throughout the workday
• Knowledge of safe use of industrial equipment and cleaning products
• Great customer service skills
• Honesty and great work ethics
