Bamboo Apps is one of the few companies with experience in application development for the world’s leading car manufacturers.
Bamboo Apps is looking for a Senior Back-end developer (Java) to join its new projects.
You can work on-site in our R&D center in Minsk, Belarus or remote.
Main purpose: development of V2X (vehicle-to-everything) solution for EU automotive company. The solution consists of software for vehicle on-board units (OBU), road side units (RSU) and server (cloud) infrastructure.
Backend developer responsibilities:
• Communicate with the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) operators, smart cities, highway operators, V2X device vendors, vehicle OEMs and PKI vendors to determine requirements for server (cloud) software to manage V2X services and to support Autonomous Vehicles (AV) operation
• Develop server (cloud) SW architecture and determine SW development schedule
• Design and write the server (cloud) back-end core SW to manage V2X services and to support AV operation
• Integrate the server (cloud) back-end core SW with Fronted Web SW, data analytics, monitoring and control, information security and other subsystems.
Qualification requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in back-end SW development
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering
• Experience with a complete life-cycle of an server (cloud) SW system
• Proficient in Java
• Experience in microservices SW architecture
• Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration and DevOps
• Good communication skills and the ability to manage projects
• High-level writing and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with SW configuration tools
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Excellent time-management skills
• English level B1 or higher.
Would be beneficial:
• Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Spring framework
• Experience with Java 17
• Experience with ELK-stack.
• Experience with Etcd, Kafka, MQTT.
